Sikki is a dry grass, used for various decorative as well as household products. A fine piece of work by the Women's of Madhubani village trained at a NGO guided by Sri Dhirendar Kumar.

SIkki is a special kind of grass that is found on river banks. It is also called golden grass in European country. It is obtained from the dried stems of the plant. The upper portion with flowers is discarded and the residual fine golden fibers are used to create different art forms. These dry grasses are stitched and converted into beautiful objects like coasters, tray, wall hanging, furniture, photo-frame etc. Various other shapes like snake, elephant, tortoise are also made and later colored to make beautiful masterpieces.

Buddha in Dhyan Mudra under the magical Bodhi tree in Bodhagaya at Gaya District in Bihar. Crafting of this whole frame and procedure takes 15 to 18 days depending upon the size and detailing involved.
